What it costs

What you pay, and when you know it.

Every family should have the opportunity to speak with a doctor before being asked to make any financial commitment.

01

The first consultation costs the family nothing

The initial consultation is provided at no cost to the family by a Primary Care Physician, engaged through a telehealth partner, or under a direct contract with us, according to what the condition calls for. We pay that physician for each consultation, whether or not the patient goes on to travel.

02

Nothing is booked before the case is reviewed

No travel is arranged until the case has been clinically reviewed against defined criteria. This ensures that families are not asked to spend money or leave home for a journey that is unlikely to benefit them. When we cannot help, we say so early.

03

A range first, then one itemised figure

The clinical plan is presented to two or three hospitals across different tiers, and written estimates are obtained for the same procedure. Families receive an indicative cost range early in the process, recognising that the final cost will depend on the patient's specific clinical needs. Once hospital estimates are received, the family is provided with a single, itemised estimate, including a contingency allowance and a clear written list of exclusions.

04

The budget you told us is part of the decision

Hospitals are organised into defined tiers and contracted at agreed package rates with clearly stated inclusions, so pricing is established before a family requests a quote. Options are considered in the context of the budget the family shared with us at the outset, and our Primary Care Physician compares the estimates against the clinical plan — so the recommendation rests on the appropriateness and quality of the treatment as well as on the price.

05

Nothing changes without your agreement

If the expected cost changes during treatment, the change is discussed with and agreed by the family before any additional cost is incurred. Hospital bills are reviewed daily while the patient is being treated.

It costs nothing to ask

An enquiry starts with a conversation in your own language. Nothing is booked, and nothing is charged, until a doctor has read the case and spoken to the patient.
